CASE REPORT A male aged 4 years, with recurrent infections. • Family history: Healthy parents. Paternal grandfather suffered from diabetes. Paternal uncle suffered from Hodgkin’s lymphoma. A healthy younger brother. • Perinatal history, growth and development: Born at term by C-section. It weighed 3.450 kg. Apgar 9. He was exclusively breast- fed for 6 months; its growth and development were normal until then: aged 3 months he weighed 6 kg, and by 6 months, 8 kg. His neuromuscular development was normal. Aged 5 months he controlled the movement of his head and arms and rolled on the floor. At 6 months, he crawled and at 11 months he walked. He said his first words when aged 11 months and was able to draw lines on paper at 12 months. His further neuromuscular development was normal. • History of vaccination: He was fully vaccinated against hepatitis B, diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus, polio, type b Hemophilus influenzae, Pneumococcus, rotavirus, measles, rubella, mumps, hepatitis A, and chickenpox. He has been vaccinated annually against influenza.
