At the request of MATRES MUNDI INTERNATIONAL, various scientific societies of medicine, NGOs and humanitarian organizations, the Organizing Commission of the GLOBAL CONGRESS OF MATERNAL AND INFANT HEALTH is pleased to announce our public APPEAL TO CITIZENS. This APPEAL aims to increase public awareness about the drastic situation of maternal and infant health throughout the world. The APPEAL will take place in multiple cities throughout the world during various ceremonies all occurring the same day. The date suggested to celebrate this act is the 31st of August, International Solidarity Day. The Commission has selected various international leaders in the perinatal medical community to execute the lecture of the APPEAL in the selected cities. These persons have been selected due to their prestige in the international medical community as well as in recognition of their ethics and dedication to the field. It is to this effect that we would like to invite you to be one of our selected medical leaders. We hope that you will be so generous as to accept our honourable proposition.
